All of our feather boas are handmade, and the feathers will fall off when removed from the package. This is normal. Once you receive your boa, open the bag, preferably outdoors, and try to shake it to remove any debris formed during shipping and processing, then hang it on a hook for 24-48 hours. The boa will lose some feathers at this point, as is common with all-natural, handmade feather boas. Then hang your boa on a hook, as this will help it fluff up naturally. The more you hang your boa, the more it will fluff up.
